Idaho State Civic Symphony Valentine’s Gala set Feb. 13

The Idaho State-Civic Symphony Association’s annual fundraising event will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, at the Stephens Performing Arts Center.

The event will feature a dinner, an array of raffle prizes donated by local businesses and a performance of live orchestral music featuring guest artists Sergiu Brindusa and Beth Moore, and the Brindusa Moore Ballet Academy Ensemble.

Raffle tickets will soon be on sale from board members. The raffle items will be on display in the Rotunda prior to the concert and tickets will be sold from 6:30 p.m. until just before the concert and during intermission.

Tickets for the raffle packages are $1 each and purchasers may designate the prize(s) on which they’ll take a chance. There’s something for everyone, from biking activities to elegant dinners, symphony, theatre and athletic events, dining, a variety of getaway packages and a money tree. The drawing will take place onstage after the concert; winners need not be present.

There will also be a special limited-ticket raffle item, donated by Molinelli’s, that will be announced prior to the gala.

Dinner seating is limited and reservations are required. For more information or to make reservations at $40 per person, contact Rayna Valentine at 233-7081 no later than
Saturday, Feb. 9.

Tickets to the concert are available through the Performing Arts Center Box Office (282-3592) or Vickers’ Western Stores (237-5700). Ticket prices are adults, $34; ISU faculty/staff $31; students $18, balcony $12, plus applicable handling and credit card charges. Please note that no RUSH tickets will be made available.
