‘TANGENTIAL’ art exhibit opens Aug. 27 at Idaho State University Davis Gallery

The first exhibition of fall 2012 semester at the John B. Davis Gallery of Idaho State University is "TANGENTIAL" by Naomi S. Adams.  

An opening reception will be held Monday, Aug. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. and the exhibit runs from Aug. 28 – Sept. 7.

Adams is an award-winning contemporary textile and book artist. Her artwork has been shown nationally, regionally and locally in diverse venues ranging from galleries to public works installations.

Adams holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Her work was included in Quilt National 2011, and received the "Most Innovative Use of the Medium Award." She is the new assistant professor of studio art and fiber media at Idaho State University.

The John B. Davis Gallery hours are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Gallery events are free and open to the public.
