Samantha Gravis honored as Idaho State University Student Employee of the Year

Samantha GravisSamantha Gravis, who works for the Idaho State University Anderson Center, has been honored as ISU Student Employee of the Year and will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

First runner-up is Monica Conley, who works for the general education department and will receive a $400 scholarship; and second runner-up is Angela Boursaw, who also works for the general education department and will receive a $50 ISU Bookstore gift certificate and an ISU parking pass.

Student employees are vital to the mission of Idaho State University. Their excellence is recognized each year through National Student Employment Week, April 11-17.

To commemorate National Student Employment Week ISU recognizes outstanding students who go beyond the job requirements and provide exemplary service by awarding the Student Employee of the Year Scholarship. Students were nominated by departments based on exhibited reliability, outstanding quality of work, extraordinary initiative, disposition/attitude, professionalism, service/outreach and contribution that the student has had on the position or the department.
