Awards recognize work of ISU’s top student employees

As part of national student employee week, April 9-13, Idaho State University named Travis Cottrell from the Outdoor Adventure Center the ISU Student Employee of the Year. Cottrell received a $2,000 scholarship and a plaque.Cottrell

Other honorees include Cathy Stumph from the counseling and testing center, who was awarded $430 scholarship; Abdul Fatah Jabarkhail from the student union, who received a $50 bookstore certificate; and Scott Odekirk from the Debate Society, who received a year-round general parking pass.

Student employees are an integral part at ISU. The university applauds and recognizes the vital contributions that all student employees make to it. ISU encourages its institutions to thank their student employees, said Stacy Giokas.
