ISU Marketing and Communications

The Idaho State University Society of Physics Students and the ISU Department of Physics will hold a Haunted Laboratory exhibit, free and open to the public on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the ISU Pond Student Union Ballroom.

The Haunted Laboratory is part of the annual Halloween Carnival sponsored by the ISU Student Activities Board.

The eerie lab will feature interactive exhibits designed to delight, fright and educate kids of all ages. Exhibits include “The Disembodied Head,” “Pepper’s Ghost,” a Van de Graaff generator, Tesla coils, lasers moving to music and many other eye-catching illusions with smoke and mirrors. Several exhibits use the same principles of those at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion, many of which will be explained at the event.

For more information, contact Steve Shropshire, Ph.D., at (208) 282-2212 or the ISU Student Activities Board at (208) 282-3451.
