Ghosts of the Idaho State campus and where to find them
Frazier Hall
Unseen presences don’t allow the fact that they are dead to stand in the way of their piano practicing or enjoyment of the theater!
Apparitions of theater lovers have been known to appear and sit in the audience. They enjoy sitting in the top of the theater.
One evening around midnight an officer went to Frazier after a 911 call had been made from the building. When he opened the door, he heard a woman's scream. He called for backup, but when officers searched the building they didn't find anyone.
When driving past Frazier Hall in the R1 lot don't look at the top middle window. There is a woman who is watching you!
Administration
The administration building isn’t the most haunted building on campus, yet is still known for hosting ghosts. While it is unclear how many ghosts supposedly live in the basement, custodians have reported strange noises during the night and doors shutting themselves.
There is the ghost of an older gentleman that stays next to the bathrooms outside of payroll. It smells like tobacco when he is around.
Graveley Hall
A strong presence is felt in the building.
Just locked windows have been found open a few minutes later when no one else was in the building.
An obliging, friendly entity has been known to open doors for the living.
World War II veterans that used to stay in Graveley Hall came back for a tour. They talked about the old days and the fun they had here. When they entered the 2nd floor the mood changed and they spoke of the deaths that happened there. They immediately wanted to leave.
Doors, footsteps, and thumping noises are often heard upstairs on the 2nd floor.
Roy F. Christensen
It is said that Frank is more of a bystander than an actual threat, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t there. Over many years people have seen a figure out of the corner of their eye, yet there has never been another person there. Frank will also allegedly knock utensils, such as knives and ladles, off of the wall.
Footsteps running down the hall and slamming doors can also be heard.
Dental Hygiene Sciences
The ghost who haunts the Dental Hygiene has been named Francine. She is an older lady who turns equipment on and off and knocks things off trays to the floor.
Albion Hall
The long hallway that spans the building's length is said to hold the ghost of a man. If you look, a ghost is seen standing at the end of the hall.
Gale Life Science
Bodies come in and out of the Biology building all the time. These bodies bring with them the spirits they use to hold. There is a rumor saying one cadaver was cursed and the cursed spirit still haunts the Gale Life Science building. Because of this students don't like to be alone and walk out of the building in groups.
Many noises can be heard in the cadaver lab area. One early morning an officer heard a tink, tink, tink, noise coming from the cadaver lab when no one else was in the area.
Business and Technology Center
Doors open and close by themselves and footsteps can be heard in the halls.
Once a new officer patrolling the building kept hearing his name being repeated as he made his rounds. He thought that the other officers were pulling a prank on him. He radioed another officer to ask if he was pranking him, but the other officer was on the west side of campus nowhere near the building.
