Using Adobe Express for Branded Materials

This video provides a basic overview for accessing Adobe Express, accessing the University’s Brand Kit and Templates, as well as how to use the branded templates.

Transferring Canva Files to Express

Your Canva files can be easily transferred to Adobe Express for future use and editing. Before you start transferring everything, it’s important to consider what pieces you will need to be able to edit and what you plan on using again.

For the most part, any design you have created in Canva, has likely been downloaded as a pdf or other file format for printing and distributing. If this is the case, then most of the pieces you have created should be backed up somewhere. But, you may also have a few designs that you reuse regularly and want to save for future editing. These are the files you will want to transfer to Adobe Express.

What does and doesn't need transferred

We don’t recommend transferring everything you have ever made from Canva to Express, unless you plan on using the design again for future purposes. Instead, if it’s not saved on your computer already, export these files as pdfs and save for your records if needed.

Transferring to Express

When you transfer your Canva files to Express for future editing, it’s important that you organize your files efficiently so they’re easy to find in the future. In Express, you can organize “Your Stuff” into Folders or Projects. You can learn more about how to use Projects on Adobe's projects page.
