Using the Veneer Font in Express

Veneer clean font sample

Some expressive templates designed to be used on more energetic or spirited pieces use our brand font “Veneer Clean Regular” or “Veneer Clean Italic”. This is not an Adobe Font and therefore must be licensed and downloaded to be used in Adobe Express.

Before you use one of these templates, be sure you are aware of the guidance listed below. A few simple steps may need to be taken to properly prepare your design.

Veneer MUST Be Used

  • By those frequently creating branded materials.
  • On mass distributed recruitment materials (digital or 200+ pieces)

Alternative Fonts May Be Used

  • By those who infrequently create materials.
  • On materials not used for recruitment with less than 200 pieces.
  • Museo Sans Condensed 700 - 900 or Museo Sans 700 - 900 may be used in these cases instead of Veneer.

Installing Veneer Clean in Express

  1. Within the file editor, select the text boxes that use Veneer in the template you’ve chosen. The Text Editor will open on the left. Click the dropdown to choose a font and select "Upload” at the bottom of the dropdown.
  2. Click “Add Font” and select your licensed Veneer font files from your computer.
  3. In order to use the font, you may need to exit out of Adobe Express and reopen your desired template. Select the textbox using Veneer in the template, change the font to your uploaded Veneer, and edit from there.
