October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month!

Celebrate with us and win! Join our on-campus cyber events during October to build your online security skills and enter our prize giveaways.
Cyber Pop-ups
Each week in October we will host two Cyber Pop-Ups for ISU employees and students on the Pocatello Campus.
Mondays (5, 12, 19) - We will be on the Quad* from 1pm-3pm
Thursdays (8, 15, 22) - We will be in between the Rendezvous Building and Cadet Field* from 10am-12pm.
Pop-Up participants are eligible to enter in to win raffle prizes! Raffle prize winners will be notified during the first week in November. See prize rules below.
* If we experience inclement weather during these dates, our locations will be moved to the Pond Student Union Building (Mon) and the second floor of the Rendezvous Building (Thurs). Check back here for location updates.
Escape Room
During the final week of October, come test your Cyber Pop-Up skills in our Escape Room!
Monday the 26th - We will be on the Quad* from 1-3pm

Cyber Scavenger Hunt
All Month Long!
During the entire month of October, ISU employees and students are invited the seek out the cyber clues around campus. Find the Scavenger Hunt Clue flyers posted around the Pocatello ISU campus that contain a QR code to answer a brief cybersecurity question and receive your next clue!

Escape Room Rules
Limit to one entry per Student/Employee. First come first serve, no reservation needed. Each participant will receive one raffle ticket entry. Swag will be available at the event with raffle prize drawing taking place during the first week of November.
Winners will be notified through the given Student/Employee ISU email. Student and Employee prizes are separate and will be awarded during the first week of November 2026. All awards are final. Any tampering with the Escape Room or prize drawing is prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
Scavenger Hunt Rules
The Cyber Scavenger Hunt will run from October 1-31st, 2026. Limit one entry per Student/Employee. Complete the task presented on each Cyber Scavenger Hunt Clue. Each completed task will result in a prize drawing entry. Upon completion of the entire scavenger hunt, the Student/Employee will receive an additional 10 entries to the prize drawing, with a possibility of a total of 19 entries per contestant.
Winners will be notified through the given Student/Employee ISU email. Student and Employee prizes are separate and will be awarded during the first week of November 2026. All awards are final. Any tampering with the Cyber Scavenger Hunt or prize drawing is prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
