Osciel is a first-gen graduate, a TRIO SSS and McNair Scholars alumni, and is passionate about making higher education accessible to all students. He grew up in Southeast Idaho before making his way to the Treasure Valley where he resided for five years. He graduated from Boise State University with a B.A. in History in 2014. He then continued his education in Tucson at the University of Arizona where he earned his Masters in History with an emphasis in Latin America. He is currently ABD and plans to soon earn a PhD in History. In 2021 he returned to Southeast Idaho as the Associate Director of the College Assistance Migrant Program at Idaho State University. Osciel understands the importance of guidance and mentorship and wants to give back the same opportunities that he was fortunate to receive.

Kirsti has worked at Idaho State University since 2004, and in that time has worked in Administrative Support roles with the Institute of Rural Health, New Student Orientation, and the Veteran Student Services Center. She is now enjoying working in Access and Opportunity Programs with the College Assistance Migrant Program, TRIO Student Support Services, and TRIO McNair Scholars Program. She enjoys a quiet life in the country, a great rotation of music, and spending time outdoors and traveling with her family.

Alejandra (Aley) is a first generation college student. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Psychology degree at Idaho State University-Idaho Falls campus in 2018. She then proceeded to complete her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. During her time as an undergrad student she emerged into peer advising and became a senator for the College of Arts and Letters for ASISU. As a graduate student she became a Graduate Peer Advisor later then taking the role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Office of Academic Advising.By being a first generation college student, an active member in student life Aley learned that she has a passion to help others succeed in their college life both academically and overall mental wellness. As a first generation college student, Aley knows the difficulties that first generation students struggle with. Aley wants to be able to assist students in her best abilities to ensure that they are given the proper opportunity to excel and to assist students in reaching their goals. 
 
Aley loves to travel and lives by this rule "Every year, visit a new place. The feeling of seeing something for the first time will always be mesmerizing, which is something you will never forget" She also enjoys attending music festivals, reading, drawing, painting, and has a love for animals.
