Haley Mortin, a sophomore at Idaho State University from Boise, is currently working with Associate Professor John Dudgeon and graduate students Olivia Franklin and Rebecca Hazard on cutting-edge archaeological research in ancient DNA and bone preservation studies in the ISU Center for Archaeology Materials and Applied Spectroscopy (CAMAS).
The Lost River Field Station (LRFS), north of Mackay, is an ISU teaching and research facility that many do not now about.
As I walk through campus each day, I am constantly reminded that a University is more than just students, faculty, staff and buildings.
