Noah Harper is the Supervisor of the Bioskills Laboratory and has been integral in its development. He is actively engaging groups both locally and nationally to foster the success of this unique enterprise. In his position as the Associate Laboratory Manager, Noah assists in the supervision of the Gross Anatomy Laboratory including training and oversight of Lab Technicians and Interns.

Noah joined the Treasure Valley Anatomy & Physiology Laboratories as a Laboratory Specialist in August, 2015 and was promoted to Bioskills Supervisor and Associate Laboratory Manager in July, 2016. He received his training in the anatomical sciences at the University of Utah and began teaching anatomical sciences in 2007. Noah is an active member of the American Association of Anatomists and has served on the Public Affairs and Strategic Planning Committees. As an outdoor enthusiast, Noah spends his free time exploring the mountains and river canyons surrounding the Treasure Valley and beyond.

Padma Gadepally

Padma Gadepally (Dr. G) is the Lab Education and Outreach Director, Clinical Anatomist at the Treasure Valley Anatomy & Physiology Laboratories (TVAPL). In her far-reaching role, Padma serves as the anatomy lab lead for the Physician Assistant Program studies at TVAPL, while co-teaching in other graduate and undergraduate lab courses. In addition to helping hire and onboard TVAPL volunteers and techs, Padma works on expanding outreach to various user groups interested in accessing the labs, schedules and administers the labs, mentors students and techs, utilizes a variety of methods and technologies such as Anatomage to advance learning, and coordinates with fellow team members to help execute the overarching mission of the labs.


Padma has an extensive background in anatomy and physiology, graduating from medical school with top honors, and subsequently working as a health care provider, health policy advocate, and clinical researcher in and around the Treasure Valley for many years. In addition to her medical training, Padma earned her MHS (Master in Health Sciences) from Boise State University and has been an integral part of TVAPL since January 2017. Padma is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists (AACA) and its Career Development Committee (CDC). She has a wealth of experience teaching anatomy to learners at all levels (professional, graduate, undergraduate, high school, & community), across different platforms, and in varied formats (online and in-person; synchronous and asynchronous). Padma enjoys spending free time with her loving family, dancing to the beat of music, and treasuring the wonderful Idaho outdoors.

Nancy Carpenter

Nancy Carpenter

Management Assistant

Nancy Carpenter is the Management Assistant at the Treasure Valley Anatomy & Physiology Laboratories (TVAPL). She provides a variety of high level administrative support and guidance for all TVAPL staff and assists lab volunteers, anatomy students and faculty, bioskills lab users, community users and other visitors to the laboratories.

Nancy began her career at Idaho State University, Meridian working in the Administration department in 2010. There, she worked in the Student Services front office assisting students, faculty, staff and visitors. She then transferred to the TVAPL in January 2016 and has been integral in lab development. Nancy provides oversight of lab facilities, lab schedules, and manages safety training compliance for all staff and volunteers. Prior to ISU, Nancy worked in the payroll and accounting industry. In her free time, Nancy enjoys bike riding and spending time with family.

Ashley Fraens

Ashley Fraens is a full-time lab technician at the Treasure Valley Anatomy & Physiology Laboratories. She facilitates the day-to-day use and maintenance of the laboratories, provides assistance to TVAPL staff, and also provides support and direction for part-time lab technicians and volunteers.

Jessy Moore

Anatomy Lab Specialist

Jessy Moore is the Anatomy Lab Specialist at the Treasure Valley Anatomy and Physiology Laboratories. His responsibilities include preparing anatomical specimens used for teaching, providing lab-based instruction, supporting general lab operations, and assisting in the oversight and education of lab technicians and volunteers.

Jessy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Physiology at Central Washington University (CWU) in June of 2020 and a Master of Science degree in Integrative Human Physiology, also at CWU, in June of 2022. His studies were focused on integrating knowledge across multiple sciences including anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology, physics/biomechanics, biochemistry/metabolism, and statistics to advance his understanding of human function as it pertains to movement, disease, aging, environmental stressors, physical injuries, and ergogenic aids. He is fascinated with gross human anatomy. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, he was able to gain valuable teaching experience in the anatomy lab. His graduate project involved an extensive human cadaveric dissection experience that culminated in the creation of a dissection manual that details the self-developed procedures he utilized to perform several specialized dissections.

In his free time, Jessy likes to lift weights at the gym, cook delicious meals for his loving family, train his dog Harrison, and hike and fish whenever he can.

Jackson Fortune

IT Lab Support

Jackson Fortune is the IT Lab Support at the Treasure Valley Anatomy & Physiology Laboratories (TVAPL). He is the onsite technician support for all audio/visual and computer technology needs. Jackson received his Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Sam Houston State University in 2020 and has worked in information technology in higher education since 2018.

In August 2022, Jackson moved from Texas to Meridian, Idaho to begin his work at TVAPL. In his free time, Jackson enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and computer tinkering.
