🎬 Film Screening & Panel Discussion – Everyone Welcome!
Wednesday, March 18 from 5–8 PM, join us at the Bengal Theater at Idaho State University for a special screening of the powerful 2020 documentary Gather, which highlights the movement to revitalize Indigenous food systems and traditional foodways.
Following the film, we will host a panel discussion on Food Sovereignty featuring:

🌿 Nolan Brown
🌿 Susan Filkins
The discussion will focus on protecting and revitalizing our Native foodways, with special attention to pasigo (camas) and the importance of traditional foods to our communities.
🍿 Free popcorn and light refreshments will be provided
🚗 Parking on campus is free after 4 PM

After many years without a contest powwow, our students have worked incredibly hard to bring this back in a big way and we cannot wait to welcome dancers, drummers, families, and community members from near and far.
