April 26, 2008 - Go Green & Spring into Fitness Fun Walk/Run - Review
In recognition of Earth Week events on campus and in the community, over 60 participants joined us at our annual Spring into Fitness 2.5K - 5K - 10K Fun Walk/Run on Saturday, April 26 at Reed Gym.
For each of the paid participants, $1.00 of their registration fees went directly to the local Idaho Foodbank chapter. Some participants brought canned and non-perishable food items.
The Wellness Center staff thanks all of the event sponsors who donated prizes and resources, and the following departments and individuals for volunteering and their commitment to help make this event a success:
- Campus Recreation and Intramurals
- Institute of Rural Health Studies
- Joey Gifford from University Relations for the wonderful logo
- Athletic Training office for the water coolers
