Women on Weights (WoW) Fitness Series -

For the second consecutive Spring semester, the Wellness Center offered a Women on Weights (WoW) Fitness Series. Led by American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer, Dina Mijacevic, participants learned the benefits of strength training, proper lifting technique while utilizing machine and free weights, and how to incorporate weight training into their workouts.
Overall, participant feedback was positive and we hope to continue the WoW fitness series in upcoming semesters.
Thank you to all of the participants for their commitment to a healthy lifestyle, Dina for leading the group, Jenn Anthony for marketing and promoting the WoW series, and Campus Recreation and Intramurals for assisting with scheduling and providing use of the facilities.
