Welcome!
Medical/Dental Open Enrollment, May 12 - 28, 2008
Mark your calendars for Open Enrollment. The State of Idaho's current PPO and Traditional medical plans will continue with existing benefits, but with increased premium rates, and a third medical plan will be implemented for Fiscal Year 2009. The new High Deductible plan maintains employee premiums at the FY2008 level, but provides a lower level of benefits than the PPO or Traditional plans.
This year's Open Enrollment period for medical and dental coverages will be May 12 - 28. During this period employees may change their medical plan designation (from PPO to Traditional, etc.) or add previously declined dependent dental coverage.
Open Enrollment is also the only time of the year employees may enroll or re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account program.
Full details regarding plan options, for FY2009 will be posted by May 12 on the State of Idaho, Office of Group Insurance website at http://adm.idaho.gov/insurance/. FY2009 premium rates are available here.

Memorandum on Student Employment
September 12, 2007
We are pleased to announce that since January of 2007, student employment is being handled by the Human Resources office. Stacey Giokas, Employment Coordinator, is responsible for both on-campus and off-campus student job postings for current students who are seeking positions to assist them while attending ISU. The Career Center will continue to serve students and alumni seeking professional positions as well as the current counseling services they provide. We have some enhancements now available that include on-campus student employment job descriptions and pay ranges. Those are available on the Human Resources webpage under Student Employment
We also have a new Bengal Jobs that improves services to students and employers.
