Ashley Andersen

Hometown: American Falls, Idaho
Major: Physical Therapy

Year on Bengal Dancers: 1rst

Prior to Bengal Dancers Ashley danced at Cope’s Dance and Fitness Center since she was 3. She was a member of the AFHS drill team and Cheer team where they won 3 state dance champs in a row. She also competed on SEI Showteam winning numerous awards.

 

 


Meagan Brockett

Hometown: Pocatello, Idaho
Major: Exercise Science
Year in School: Freshman
Year on Bengal Dancers: 1rst

Prior to Bengal Dancers Meagan danced at Kassai Dance Studio, Dance FX and Dance Vibrations. She was a member of the Century High School Diamond Dancers for 4 years and was head captain her senior year. Meagan has also won 8 overall high point solo awards including Miss Pacific Northwest 2011, along with MVP lyrical solo National Champion in 2011.

 


Tedi Cameron

Prior to Bengal Dancers Tedi danced at Centre Stage Studios since she was in the 5th grade. She has taken ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern and hip-hop. She has performed in the ballets; Annie, Rigaletto, The Swan Princess, Seasons, Lark Ascending, Prayer of the Children, Alice in Wonderland, How the West was won and The Nutcracker. She has also traveled to California and performed at Disneyland and Universal Studios.

 


Lizzy Colbert

Prior to Bengal Dancers Lizzy has had 5 years studio dance team and 4 years drill team at Mountain View High School. Her senior year, she served as captain and helping their team win District, State and National Champions.

 

 

Hallie Hanohano

Prior to Bengal Dancers Hallie danced at Dance Factory and was a member of the Century High School Diamond Dancers. She also teaches at Danceology Dance Studio.

 


Kimberly Hickenlooper

Hometown: Burley, Idaho
Major: Educational Interpreting Program
Year in School: Junior
Year on Bengal Dancers: 3rd

Prior to Bengal Dancers Kim danced with Centre Stage in Burley, Idaho and was a member of the competition team for nine years. She has studied at Broadway Dance Center in New York, attended the summer dance intensive with the Idaho Dance Arts Alliance seven times, and has attended the BYU modern/jazz camp.

 

 


Kelsie Jenkins

Hometown: Boise, ID
Major: History
Year in School: Freshman

Prior to Bengal Dancers, Kelsie began training in ballet, tap and jazz at age 3 ½ and later picked up hip hop and lyrical. She trained at Dance Pros in Boise, ID for 14 years and at Xpressions Dance Academy in Nampa, ID for 2 years. Kelsie participated in Ballet Idaho’s “The Nutcracker” in the roles of mouse, ladybug, dragon, party child and sailor from ages 6-15. She attended various dance conventions and competitions, including LADF, The Pulse, Adrenaline and Jump all along the Northwest.

 

 

Cassidy Kendell

Year in School: Sophmore
Year on Bengal Dancers: 2nd

Prior to Bengal Dancers Cassidy danced with Cope’s Dance in American Falls, Idaho and was a member of the AFHS Cheer & Drill team. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop and drill. She also was the captain of the drill squad her senior year. This is her second year on the team.

 


Megan McLean

Major: Radiographic Science
Year in School: Junior
Year on Bengal Dancers: 3rd

Prior to Bengal Dancers Megan danced with Cope’s Dance in American Falls, Idaho and was a member of their competition team. She danced on the American Falls High School Dance Team for four years and won state three of those years. Megan has attended the summer dance intensive with the Idaho Dance Arts Alliance numerous times. She has also participated in the I-move, ISU Dance concert.

 

 


Megan McKinlay

Hometown: Blackfoot, Idaho
Major: Undecided
Year in School: Freshman
Year on Bengal Dancers: 1rst

Prior to Bengal Dancers Megan danced for 17 years with DSDS, Dance Depot , Blackfoot Idaho STARS and Downtown Dance. She was also a member of Broncadettes at Blackfoot High School. This last year, Megan danced for the AFL with The Utah Blaze dancers.

 


Meagan Mullahy

Prior to Bengal Dancers Meagan trained at Thompson Lane Entertainment Center and The Winner School Dance Company. She was a member of the Olympus High School dance team for 3 years and was Captain for 2 years. Meagan has performed in the Nuntcracker for several years along with the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics and was a back up dancer for High School Musical.

 


Paetan Schiess

Hometown: Pocatello, ID
Major: Computer Information Systems with a Minor in Paralegal Studies
Year in School: Sophmorer
Year on Bengal Dancers: 2nd

Prior to Bengal Dancers Paetan dance for 15 years at DSDS. She has been fortunate to travel the U.S. from California to New York taking various classes from Mia Michaels, Brian Freeman, Wade Robinson, Chris Judd and many more. Dance is Paetans passion. She believes a lot of people express their feeling through music or poems but for dancers, they express their emotions and feelings through movement.

 

Savana Schiess

Hometown: Pocatello, ID
Major: Health Education
Year in School: Senior
Year on Bengal Dancers: 5th

Prior to Bengal Dancers Savana danced with Dana Smith Dance Studio (DSDS) in Pocatello, Idaho for 17 years. Savana has trained ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop. She has attended numerous dance conventions and camps including the Pulse dance convention in Denver. Savana was a member of the ISU Bengal Dancers 2008 USA Open Dance National Championship team. She is in her 2nd year as Co-Captain.

 

Ravan Thorpe

Prior to Bengal Dancers Ravan danced at Centre Stage Studios. She was also a member of the Century High School Diamond Dancers for 4 years. She enjoys new things and long boards for fun.

 

Kasja Watt

Hometown: Blackfoot, ID
Major: Psychology
Year in School: Senior
Year on Bengal Dancers: 5th

Prior to Bengal Dancers Kasja danced with Cope’s Dance and Fitness in American Falls, Idaho for 19 years. She also danced with the Blackfoot Broncadettes for four years and was captain her Senior year. Kasja is currently an instructor of Copes’ Show Team. Kasja trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, pointe, clog and hip-hop. She has danced at Lil’ Wayne concert and Dem Franchise Boy concert as the opening number. Kasja has also taken from well-known choreographers such as Shane Sparks, David Moore, Fred Odgaard and Mandy Moore. Recently she auditioned for the LA Laker girls and made it the last cut. Kasja was a member of the team when they won the National Championship in 2007. She is in her 2nd year as Co-Captain
