Diversity Resource Center Hosts Several Events


 

The Diversity Resource Center is hosting several events this month. All are invited.

 Feb. 15, 6:30 – 8 p.m. Pond Student Union Middle South Fork Room Panel: “It’s a Love Thang: How you know you are loved within your community” Come join us as a diverse collection of voices and perspectives from the university and the community explore how community members feel loved, welcomed and respected.

Feb. 20 6:30-8 p.m. ISU Diversity Resource Center, Rendezvous 129 Slam Poetry Night Come learn about black historical poets or share your own poetry as we celebrate the legacy of African American poets! If you are interested in participating in this event, contact the Diversity Resource Center at 208-282-3142.

 Feb. 27 Rendezvous Suites ABC Panel: “Human ancestry and what makes us like one another” Come and listen to our panel of experts discuss issues surrounding the growth of at-home genetic testing kits and the ways that their prevalence may shift the way that we see ourselves and others.
