Local businesses partner with Idaho Museum of Natural History for a treasure hunt

November 2, 2018

POCATELLO – Using clues like “Bid Online & Live,” “Big or Small, We Tow Them All” and “Where ISU Starts its Day,” everyone is invited to join in a community Treasure Hunt to locate 10 natural history exhibits displayed in local businesses throughout Pocatello and Chubbuck.

The exhibits feature objects from the Idaho Museum of Natural History at Idaho State University collections and each Bison Biz Partner has something unique.

To participate in the Bison Biz Treasure Hunt pick up a Clue Card at any participating Bison Biz Partner. Once you have visited each participating business, turn in your Clue Card to the Idaho Museum of Natural History for the chance to win an annual family membership or other prizes.  Participants can also join the fun by posting to Instagram a picture of all 10 exhibits using the #BISONBIZ rather than a Clue Card.  Participants have through February 2019 to visit the Bison Biz Partners and submit their Clue Card.

Get started today. Visit any one of the following Bison Biz Partners: The College Market, Mountain America Credit Union, Denny’s Wrecker Services, Gate City Fine Arts, TownePlace Suites-Marriott, Gold’s Gym, BengalWorks Graphics, Senior Activity Center, Prime Time Auctions and the Farmer’s Market.

The Idaho Museum of Natural History wants to share the unforgettable natural history stories of Idaho through the wonderful objects from its collections by bringing them to the community.

For more information on participating Bison Biz Partners, addresses and hours of operation, or to print a Clue Card, visit isu.edu/imnh.
