Participate in Public Safety Survey

Public Safety would like all ISU faculty, staff and students to participate in a THIRA Survey.

THIRA stands for Threat and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment. ISU Public Safety completes a THIRA every few years. The assessment is completed to determine:

  • What threats and hazards can affect our campuses?
  • If they occur, what is their impact?
  • Based upon the impact, what are our capabilities?

We would like to ask faculty, staff and students from Pocatello, Meridian and Idaho Falls to complete a survey to help us answer these questions.

We want to gage your awareness of emergency preparedness efforts, and we want your opinion on how the various threats and hazards affect our campuses.

This information will be used to help us revise the ISU All-Campus Mitigation Plan, and determine any mitigation actions to be taken to reduce our risks to the various threats and hazards.

Please take a few minutes of your time to complete the survey at the link below, preferably before Oct. 26.
