Classes Offered Nov. 6-15 for Risky Business Week


In honor of RISKY BUSINESS WEEK, a week dedicated to highlighting the importance of risk management on campus, the Department of Risk Management is pleased to offer the University Campus a series of presentations that create a culture of risk management that spans the entire year.
 
President Vailas supports Risky Business Week and invites and encourages faculty and staff to take advantage by attending three educational forums.  Learn what risks are facing our institution and what we can do to help manage those risks.
 
Workshops will be offered on the following dates from 11 a.m. to noon at the Pond Little Wood River Room:
 
  • Nov. 6 - "The Equifax Breach and Cyber Security" - Presenter, Dr. Corey Schou
  • Nov. 10 - "Earthquake risks in Southeastern Idaho" - Presenter, Dr. David Pearson
  • Nov.15 - Webcast:  "Risks Using 3D Printers" - Presented by University Risk Management & Insurance Association
