Save the date: EMPWRing School Mental Health and Leadership Summer Institute

Join the Department of School Psychology and Educational Leadership at the EMPWRing School Mental Health and Leadership Summer Institute on June 10 - 12, from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the College of Education building. 

Supported by a U.S. Department of Education grant, the event brings together school administrators, school psychologists, school-based professionals and community health providers across Idaho for networking, collaboration and hands-on professional development.

Registration is free and includes professional development credits, breakfast and lunch and travel reimbursement.

Participants will explore topics including behavioral interventions and consultation, school climate, mental health and ethics, IEP do’s and don’t’s and professional burnout. The session will also feature an exclusive look into the new simulation room designed for school psychology students, offering an immersive, hands-on training experience with advanced technology.
