Registration Now Open for Leadership Development

Registration is now open for ISU's 12-week Leadership Development program. Whether you're currently leading a team or preparing for your next leadership opportunity, Leadership Development is designed to help you build the skills and confidence to lead successfully in higher education. Working in a university environment presents unique challenges, from balancing institutional priorities with departmental needs to supporting diverse teams and navigating change. This program provides practical strategies, valuable insights, and opportunities to learn from experienced campus leaders.

Over 12 weeks, participants will explore essential leadership topics, including * CliftonStrengths®, Collaborative Leadership, Change Leadership, Crucial Conversations, Emotional Intelligence, Encouraging Employee Engagement, The Human Side of Leadership, Leadership Panel Q&A with ISU Administration Council members and a special session with President Wagner.

Format: In-person with a distance-learning option for remote participants
Location: Pocatello Campus (specific location will be shared before the first session)
Time: Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Leadership Development is open to current supervisors, managers, leaders, and employees interested in growing their leadership skills. Participants are encouraged to complete Bengal Management Essentials before enrolling.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Registration closes August 31, 2026.
