July 16, 2026

The Albion Institute at Idaho State University is pleased to announce the appointment of RaeLyn Price as Associate Officer for Workforce Training.

Price previously served as Director of ISU Continuing Education and Workforce Training (CEWT). Her appointment reflects her newly expanded role within the Albion Institute.

“Workforce education succeeds when it brings together the needs of industry, the expertise of our faculty, and the aspirations of every learner,” said John Louviere, Chief Officer for Online Enterprise and Extended Learning at Idaho State University. “RaeLyn has earned the trust of employers, the respect of faculty and staff, and the confidence of learners through her leadership and genuine commitment to their success. She understands that every learner has a unique story and goal, and she is dedicated to creating opportunities that help them succeed. RaeLyn is the kind of leader who strengthens Idaho State University, and I’m delighted to work with her as part of the Albion Institute.”

The Albion Institute is a service unit of Idaho State University that supports academic programs and provides the infrastructure to launch, grow, and sustain non-degree educational opportunities. The Institute connects learners to knowledge and opportunities that help them start, advance, and transform their careers.

The Albion Institute offers:

  • Continuing education opportunities
  • Workforce training programs
  • K–12 educator professional development
  • Non-degree, stackable offerings
  • Personal enrichment

“I’m honored to step into this new role with ISU’s Albion Institute and continue working with our talented team, now expanded to serve even more learners and partners,” said Price. “Together, we’re focused on creating responsive, industry-driven learning opportunities that can transform learners' careers while continuing to meet the evolving needs of our regional Idaho workforce.”

Price brings more than 10 years of experience at Idaho State University. Since joining ISU in 2016 as a CNA instructor, she has served in several workforce training leadership roles, including more than five years as Health Programs Coordinator before being named Director of Continuing Education and Workforce Training. In that role, she has overseen apprenticeship programs, healthcare training, customized workforce training, professional development, and workforce conferences that serve learners and employers across Idaho.

Price holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Development, a Bachelor of Science in Workplace Training and Leadership, baccalaureate certificates in Training and Development and Organizational Leadership, and an Associate of Arts and Science in Nursing (RN). Her educational background reflects a commitment to lifelong learning and positions her to lead workforce initiatives that strengthen connections between education and industry.

“I’ve always believed that education changes lives by opening doors to new opportunities,” said Price. “Bringing Workforce Training into the Albion Institute strengthens our ability to extend the reach of Idaho State University by connecting workforce training, professional education, and educational pathways in ways that better serve learners, employers, and the communities we serve.”
