Limited Campus Services Available During 4th of July Holiday

In recognition of America250, Governor Brad Little has extended paid leave for state employees surrounding the Fourth of July holiday. As a result, Idaho State University will be closed from Thursday, July 2 through Monday, July 6, 2026, which includes the observed holiday on Friday, July 3. 

Limited on-campus services will be available during this time. The following services will remain open on July 2 and July 6:

  • Availability of academic offices that support students, faculty, and staff associated with summer session courses will be determined by unit leaders and will vary. To ensure your needs are met, please contact your department prior to July 2 to determine office hours. 
  • IT service desk and classroom technology support
  • Student dining services
  • Library digital services and physical library in Pocatello
  • Student Leadership and Engagement will host the Bengal Beats Summer Concert on the Quad July 2 featuring Paige Allen
