ISU International Affairs Council Announces Panels for 55th Annual Frank Church Symposium

Idaho State University’s International Affairs Council (IAC) will host the 55th Annual Frank Church Symposium on April 2 and 3, 2026. The two-day, student-led conference will be held in the ABC Rendezvous Suite on the ISU Pocatello campus and is completely free and open to the public.
This year’s symposium centers on the theme, “Our New Normal? Evaluating Global Futures,” bringing together global experts, academics, and community members to navigate the rapidly shifting landscapes of technology, governance, and society. The event will be headlined by a keynote address from Laura Galante, nationally recognized expert in cybersecurity and global policy.
Throughout the symposium, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a diverse series of expert-led panels, including:
- Emerging Technologies, Trust and Journalism
- National Security and Public Policy
- Contemporary Expressions in Art
- The Future of Local Economies
- Modern Personalist Regimes
- Privacy, the State and Data
- The Nuremberg Trials: Reflections after 80 Years
The Frank Church Symposium is a hybrid event, offering both in-person attendance and virtual access to ensure these vital conversations are accessible to everyone. No tickets are required.
