Idaho International Choral Festival to Return to Pocatello July 14
June 8, 2026
From July 14–20, Idaho State University will serve as the heartbeat of a global musical celebration as the Idaho International Choral Festival returns to Pocatello. This triennial event, founded in 1999, is set to bring diverse choral groups from four continents to share their talents and foster international friendship.
The festival will feature a series of inspiring concert performances from July 15–18, culminating in a spectacular finale at the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the Stephens Performing Arts Center. By utilizing various venues and spaces across the ISU campus, the festival provides a unique opportunity for students and the community to experience a "universal language of music" that unites different races, cultures, and nationalities.
While in Pocatello, choir members stay with host families, visit local sites and share cultural experiences. The Idaho International Choral Festival, founded in 1999, brings choirs from around the world to Pocatello every three years.
