Green Workspace Certification Winners: ISU Sustainability

The Office of Sustainability is pleased to announce the results of our inaugural Green Workspace Certification Program.

Earlier this semester, offices, units, and departments across campus volunteered to participate by completing a questionnaire assessing their sustainable practices in areas such as energy use, waste reduction, resource efficiency, and workplace habits. This initiative recognizes and encourages efforts that contribute to a more sustainable campus.

We are proud to recognize the following departments for their commitment to sustainability:

Gold Certification: Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC), Academic Affairs, Campus Operations, Chemistry Department

Silver Certification: Graduate School, Department of History ,Office of the President, Office for Research / Molecular Research Core Facility, English and Philosophy Department, College of Science and Engineering Dean’s Office, Kent Center, Psychology Department

Bronze Certification: Office for Research Maintenance and Operations – Facilities Services

Certification of Participation: University Health Center

These efforts reflect a growing commitment across campus to integrate sustainability into everyday operations. We commend all participants for taking this important step and contributing to a culture of sustainability at our institution. Congratulations to all award recipients, and thank you again to everyone who participated. We look forward to expanding this program and engaging even more departments in the coming year.
