Chloe Lemmon Named CPI Intern of the Month
January 15, 2026

Chloe Lemmon is junior majoring in biology who currently holds an internship with Idaho State University’s Department of Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS). Lemmon’s duties include managing and updating the EHSS website, collecting data on sustainability metrics for the university, and assisting with sustainability events on campus.
”I have learned so much about how to communicate ideas with people in a digestible and inviting way,” explained Lemmon. “It is super important, especially in conservation and sustainability, to be able to adapt your message to be digestible for people so they feel like they can contribute to the cause you are advocating for.”
Lemmon has also proven her ability to bring diverse groups together in the name of sustainability.
“Chloe is deeply passionate about sustainability and consistently brings forward creative, actionable ideas,” stated Pallavi Pokharel, ISU sustainability manager and Lemmon’s supervisor. “Her ability to collaborate across clubs and departments shows that our initiatives reach and involve a broad range of students.”
Originally from Pocatello, Idaho, Lemmon would love to work for the US National Parks or contribute to conservation projects and research. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, making art, and spending time with her cat and loved ones.
