All Employees Can Contribute to New 401k Roth Contributions Now Available

The benefits team in the Office of Human Resources is excited to announce an important enhancement to the University’s retirement benefits program.

Roth contributions are now available as part of our 401(k) plan, giving employees more flexibility in how they save for retirement. 

Expanded Eligibility — Everyone Can Participate

Another big update: all University employees are now eligible to participate in the 401(k), including:

• Full-time and part-time employees
  
• Student employees
  
• Temporary employees
  

Whether you’re early in your career, working part time, or just starting to save, you now have access to this valuable benefit.

Employees can enroll, update their contributions, or learn more about the new Roth option by visiting the HR Benefits webpage. To enroll, simply complete the DocuSign form or fill out a paper form and return it to the Benefits Office.
