United Way Bowling Tournament Results
November 2, 2026

The ISU/United Way Campaign Committee is pleased to announce the winners from the 2026 ISU United Way Bowling Tournament. This fundraising tournament attracted over 65 players in 17 teams from 13 departments across campus.
The bowling tournament is part of the larger, annual ISU / United Way Workplace Giving Campaign that ISU has participated in for 66 years. Congratulations to the bowling participants who collectively helped raise over $1000 to benefit the programs that United Way supports. Donations raised through this campaign stay in the local community for each of our campus locations to help our friends, neighbors and families locally in the United Way pillar areas of health, education and financial stability.
With skill levels ranging from "need to use bumpers" to "expert" it was a lighthearted contest, full of laughs and some amazingly themed costumes. The ISU Game Center was busy for three hours as the teams each played one game. The scoring was calculated using the total team score divided by the number of players to give an average score per team.
Competition was hot in the race to the top (and bottom)! The Bowling Pin Trophy for the highest score goes to The Dirty Dawgs from the Counseling and Mental Health Center. The team, made up of bowlers Dallen Bills, Kristin Stewart-Yates, Makenzie Atwoood and Matt Ashton had a (by no means) average score of 125.
The Golf Award for the lowest score goes to the Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC) who competed under the team name of Pinstructional Designers.
Special mention to the top bowler of the whole event who scored 161 - Logan McDougall, senior communications lead for the College of Science and Engineering and College of Business.
The winning team and the lowest scoring team will each receive trophies created and inscribed by ISU’s paint and sign-making team.
