ISU Students Invited to STEM and Business Career Fair Sept. 30

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Pond Student Union Building Ballroom, more than 50 employers from around the region will be available to talk with students about career opportunities at their organization. A wide variety of industries and fields will be represented, including engineering, construction, banking, government agencies, insurance, and more. 

“Students should attend the Career Fair to network with employers and discover potential internship or career paths they may not have considered yet,” said John Ney, associate professor of marketing and director of Walter Brown Center for Sales Excellence and Professional Development. “Even if they aren’t looking for a job or internship, this is a great opportunity to see what’s out there and practice their elevator pitches.”

Students are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and to dress professionally. The first 100 students who attend the fair and are in business attire will receive a prize.
