FIPSE Funding Opportunities: Accelerate Idaho AI Innovation Awards

Alongside internal Strengthening Institutions Program efforts, the Office of Academic Affairs has an exciting external opportunity to expand innovation in teaching and learning. We invite faculty and staff to submit proposals for Year 2 of the Accelerate Idaho AI Innovation Awards, an initiative managed by the Idaho State Board of Education and supported by the U.S. Department of Education. 

This program offers up to $150,000 per project per year (with up to three active awards per institution) to support forward-looking, impactful work. The Year 2 internal ISU call for proposals can be found here.

• Required Letter of Intent (LOI): Due to Academic Affairs at provost@isu.edu by Wednesday, November 11, at 5 p.m.
• Full Proposals due Friday, January 15, 2027
• Awards announced Friday, February 12, 2027
