Master Teaching Series: The P.O.U.R. Lens for Accessibility

Presenter: Ryan Randall, Instructional Technology Resource Center

Description: P.O.U.R. (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust) describes four principles of accessibility. In Spring 2026, Ryab created a mini-zine exploring these principles as part of an Open Pedagogy certificate through the Open Education Network. The zine highlights areas instructors can most directly influence and provides practical examples. This session will include copies of the zine, an overview of P.O.U.R., and strategies instructors can apply to improve accessibility in their courses. [Add to Calendar]

Date/Location: Wednesday, October 14, noon – 1pm; REND 129 and via Zoom
