First-generation experiences are part of the story of our college and university. - Connect and share: November 2–5 Monday through Thursday, from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., visit tables in the Quad Lounge in the Student Union Building or the Rendezvous Building near the food court to connect with others and learn about TRIO programs. First-Gen Club members will conduct informal interviews, inviting first-generation students to share their experiences and what being first-gen means to them.
- Gather in celebration: Friday, November 6 The week concludes with the First-Generation Community Celebration Dinner in the Quad Lounge in the Student Union Building. All first-generation students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members are invited.
