Kennametal’s High-Tech Tour Truck Visits ISU

Idaho State University’s College of Technology proudly welcomes Kennametal’s state-of-the-art tour truck showcasing the future of advanced manufacturing and machining technology. The Kennametal tour truck will be open to visitors May 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the William M. and Karin A. Eames Advanced Technical Education and Innovation Complex. The event is free and open to the public.
Kennametal, a global leader in tooling and industrial materials, is taking its innovative solutions on the road with a custom-built mobile experience to highlight cutting-edge machining tools, products, and technologies. Visitors can participate in live demonstrations, explore interactive displays, and engage directly with industry experts.
In addition to the tour truck, attendees are invited to tour ISU’s Computerized Machining Technology program and see firsthand the state-of-the-art equipment and training environments preparing students for high-demand careers in precision manufacturing.
“This event is a unique opportunity for students, faculty, and industry partners to connect with one of the top innovators in the machining world,” said Corinne Koelsch, director of STEM and industry relations for the College of Technology. “It’s hands-on, informative, and a great way to see where the future of manufacturing is headed.”
