ISU Announces Annual English Scholarship Winners

The Department of English and Philosophy is pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 English scholarship competition, made possible by generous donors.

Lindi (Dice) Pomeroy has won the Price L. Lassahn-Worrell Scholarship. Lindi, a senior in the ISU Honors Program, is majoring in English, with concentrations in Creative Writing and Literature. She is also minoring in Linguistics. 

Maddie Porter has won the Charles H. Kegel Scholarship. Maddie is also a student in the Honors Program. She is a sophomore double majoring in English, with a concentration in literature, and Secondary Education, with an endorsement in English.

Madelyn (Maddie) McCracken is the winner of the Jay G. and Mary Donna Jensen Scholarship. Maddie is a major in English, with concentrations in Professional Writing and Literature. She is also minoring in Spanish. 

All three winners stood out for their academic accomplishments. Scholarship applications are due annually in April. For more information on the English Scholarships, please visit isu.edu/english.
