Annual Piano Sale Returns to Stephens Performing Arts Center

Idaho State University, in partnership with Yamaha, Kawai, and the locally owned Pocatello Piano Gallery, is pleased to announce its Annual Piano Sale, taking place May 14–17 at the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

For over 15 years, this educational loan program has brought new Yamaha and Kawai pianos to ISU students and faculty at no cost to the university. These professionally maintained instruments have been placed in music labs, studios, and performance spaces, elevating the learning experience for aspiring musicians. Now, many of these pianos, along with an extended inventory, will be made available to the public for purchase.

Public Sale
Friday, May 16 | 1–8 p.m.
Saturday, May 17 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

More than 90 pianos will be available, including:

  • Yamaha and Kawai grand, upright, and digital models

  • Restored vintage Bösendorfer grand piano

  • Used Steinway grands and German-crafted Schimmel pianos

  • Disklavier and PianoDisc player pianos

  • Budget-friendly uprights and grands, with used models starting under $500

Financing Options Available
Special low-interest and extended-term financing has been arranged through Piano Credit Company, FinWise, and Synchrony.

This is a unique opportunity for faculty, staff, alumni, students, and community members to invest in a high-quality piano while supporting the ISU Music Department’s ongoing access to world-class instruments.
