A Message from President Wagner

Dear Bengal Community,

Over the past three months, the Idaho Legislature passed new laws that will bring some changes to public higher education across the state. Most of these changes will take effect beginning July 1, 2025, and Idaho State University is actively preparing for their implementation.

We are working closely across campus, alongside our sister institutions and the Idaho State Board of Education, to ensure the thoughtful, consistent and effective implementation of these laws. Throughout this process, our focus remains on supporting our institutional community members and staying true to the values that define ISU.

We are dedicated to providing excellent academic experiences, expanding opportunity and serving the people and communities of Idaho. We’ll continue to share updates and guidance as this work progresses, and we appreciate your patience, insight and engagement along the way.

Each of us plays an important role in moving our mission forward. The work you do matters, and supporting one another makes ISU stronger. Together, we are creating opportunities, opening doors and changing lives. Thank you for everything you do to make ISU such a remarkable place to learn and work.
