Legal Training: Speech on Campus

The Office of General Counsel will host a legal training session on the laws and policies applicable to free speech on campus. All employees are invited to join.

The training will be held December 12 from 11-11:45 a.m. on Zoom.To participate, please sign up online.  You will then receive a calendar invite with access to the Zoom link.

During this session we will discuss the following topics:

• Overview of the new "Use of University Space for Expressive Activity" Policy and its objectives
• Guidelines for using indoor and outdoor spaces for expressive activities
• Reasonable time, place, and manner regulations
• Ensuring compliance while protecting university operations and community safety
