ISU Mourns the Loss of Longtime Employee Ross Daw Ruchti

Ross Daw Ruchti, 85, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1939, in Pocatello, Idaho, and lived a life defined by dedication, service, and love for family and community. He dedicated over 30 years to Idaho State University, serving as associate director of enrollment planning and retiring as registrar in 2005. Colleagues loved working with him, and he loved the people around him.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 27, at Wilkes Funeral Home, beginning at 9 a.m., with services at 11 a.m.
Burial and an open house will follow. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate his life and legacy.
