HOSA State Leadership Conference - Volunteers/Speakers Invited

Idaho HOSA – Future Health Professionals is excited to announce that the 2026 State Leadership Conference will return to Boise, Idaho, March 11–13. After three years hosted by Idaho State University in Pocatello, the Health Services division at Boise State University will graciously welcome this year’s event to the Boise State campus, with support from colleges and universities across the state.

HOSA is an international student organization dedicated to empowering future healthcare professionals. It provides students interested in health sciences with opportunities to develop leadership skills, compete in professional events, and explore a variety of healthcare careers. This year’s conference will bring together more than 1,000 students from across Idaho to participate in competitive events spanning five main categories: health science, health professions, emergency preparedness, leadership, and teamwork.

Faculty and staff from Idaho’s higher education institutions play an essential role in the success of this event—helping organize, host workshops and simulations, and serve as judges. Faculty, staff, and students at Idaho State University can contribute in several key ways:

• Workshops and Breakout Sessions: Present information about ISU’s health science programs, showcase simulation labs, or highlight emerging health care topics. 
• Judging Competitive Events: Share professional expertise by evaluating student projects and providing meaningful feedback.
• College and Career Expo: Promote ISU programs through informational booths and direct student engagement.
