Adobe Express: Templates and Video Training Available
October 6, 2025
The University is in the process of adopting Adobe Express as our official brand and marketing design resource in place of Canva. This adoption includes a variety of built-in resources for users to effectively work within brand standards using Express, as well as training, phased implementation, and a phase out of Canva over the course of the next year.
For ease in creating on-brand, visually appealing materials, an ISU Brand Kit and several templates are now available within the Adobe Express platform. The brand kit includes our official logos, colors, fonts and other brand elements that can be added to your designs from within the Express platform.
In addition to the brand kit, Marcom is working on adding a full suite of newly branded templates to Express. The templates are being strategically created based on those that were most frequently used in Canva. Five categories of templates are now available for use including presentations, flyers, posters, blank cards, and email headers.
To access the templates, log in to Adobe Express using the steps provided on our resource page at isu.edu/express. Then, add the brand kit as described on our website. Once you’ve added the official brand, navigate to “Brands” on the left side of your screen. Click on the orange “I” and title of the brand kit at the bottom of the Brand Kit icon. .Once you click on this icon, you will see a folder called “Templates” where you will be able to find all in-place and upcoming templates in Express.
More information about the Canva to Express transition is available on our website in addition to a newly released training video. This video details the basics of using Express and the University’s branded materials within the platform. isu.edu/express.
