January 11, 2024
The Albion Center for Professional Development housed in the Idaho State University College of Education has created and posted a privacy statement covering how and what kinds of user data are obtained, collected, stored, and shared. This policy was created in collaboration with the Idaho State University Office of General Counsel and XL Law and Consulting, an outside firm that specializes in higher education operations abroad.
In order to become compliant with General Data Protection Regulation, more commonly referred to as GDPR (user data privacy regulation in the E.U. implemented in 2018), the Albion Center contracted the creation of a new policy unique to its operations. With the posting of this privacy statement, the Albion Center is one step closer to expanding its services outside the United States. The privacy statement may be viewed here.
