Jonathan Fardy to Present at the School of Materialist Research

Dr. Jonathan Fardy, associate professor of art history and chair of the Department of Art, will participate in an online roundtable on September 8, 10:30 a.m. on the work of the theorist François Laruelle. The roundtable will examine the implications of Laruelle's work for contemporary approaches to materialist theory.
Fardy will be joined by three lead scholars on Laruelle's work: Katerina Kolozova, John O' Maoilearca, and Anthony Paul Smith. The roundtable is supported by the School of Materialist Research, an online consortium, founded by a network of universities, dedicated to developing new approaches to materialist theory.
