Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Education Conference Set Nov. 3

The Idaho State University College of Education is hosting the 2023 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Education Conference in collaboration with the Diversity Resource Center on Nov. 3  from 2-7 p.m. in the Rendezvous Suites. 

All ISU faculty, staff and students are invited to attend, learn, and share strategies that advance DEI efforts in K-12 schools, the university, and our community.

The conference will open with poster presentations by ISU faculty and students from 2:00-2:50p. 

From 3- 4:45 p.m., Dr. Mays Imad will lead a workshop entitled "Harnessing Our Collective Resilience: The Science of Biological and Behavioral Resilience through Plasticity, Sociality, and Meaning."

The conference will close with a 5-7 p.m. keynote by Liz Kleinrock entitled, “How to Teach a Kid about Taboo Topics.
