December 14, 2023

Bentley Parrott, CPI of the Month for Dec. 2023

Bentley Parrott is a sophomore Visual Communications Design major at Idaho State University and holds a Career Path Internship as the Marketing and College Relations Assistant for the College of Science and Engineering.

As a CPI, Parrott has designed LinkedIn ads for the Disaster Response Complex, created a new billboard template, designed various posters and flyers, helped at several outreach events the College hosted or participated in, and much more. Currently, Bentley’s primary focus is helping to update the departmental websites for CoSE departments and the College’s main webpage.

“Bentley is a self-starter and a fantastic addition to the Dean’s Office,” stated Logan McDougall, Executive Director of College Relations for the College of Science and Engineering and Parrott’s supervisor. “We appreciate her eye for design, professionalism, and willingness to tackle any project from start to finish.”

Parrott’s experience in her CPI position has helped confirm her passion for visual communications.

“This internship has taught me so much about how to manage social media accounts and how company branding works,” explained Parrott. “Overall, it has confirmed that graphic design is my passion, and what I want to do after graduating.”

Originally from Kuna, Idaho, Parrott expects to graduate in May 2026 and pursue a career in graphic design.
