Teaching Online with Moodle Workshop Begins Soon

January 20, 2022

An online workshop for faculty to help design and deliver an online course using Moodle is being offered during the Spring 2022 semester. All the activities are designed to guide you through creating a quality online course using best practices in online teaching. The workshop is being offered through the Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC) and is a completely online, self-paced course, allowing for flexibility and collaboration with colleagues across disciplines.

Here is what others have had to say about the workshop:

"I have learned so much from this class about how to organize a course and the importance of centering it around course outcomes. This course has not only helped me with ways to put an asynchronous online course together, but has given me a framework for teaching in any format." ~Spring 2021 Workshop Completer

"I am glad I learned these tools to make my course accessible to every student that may choose to take my course. Access in education is a value of mine so learning these strategies will help me align my course to my teaching values." ~ Fall 2021 Workshop Completer

The 8-week workshop is self-paced and completely free to ISU faculty; it will open on January 31st.

Faculty interested in participating in the workshop can register by filling out the Teaching Online with Moodle ISU Online Registration Form.

For questions and more information, the ITRC can be contacted via email at itrc@isu.edu and phone at (208) 282-5880.
