Registrar Participating in Congressional Meetings

Idaho State University's new Registrar, Hala Abou Arraj, recently began participating in the Congressional Hill advocacy meetings sponsored by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
Major points of discussion revolved around the inclusion of electronic records as part of FERPA as well as resolving the legally ambiguous status of records collected and maintained by third parties such as Third Party Record Collection Agencies.
