Recruitment Monthly Update

April 7, 2022

March was a busy month for all things Admissions! We had multiple successful events, tons of communication with students, and visited high schools all across the great state of Idaho.

This month, our Admissions team finished up the in-person section of the Idaho Higher Education Tour. Our team visited with Juniors from over 80 high schools throughout a 3-week period to share all that Idaho State has to offer. During the month of April, our Admissions Team will be hosting virtual sessions for the remaining schools who could not participate during the in-person tour.  Outside of the thousands of interactions we had with students off campus and around the state, we also had 802 students on campus in the month of March for 135 individualized campus visits and 20 group tours. We are so grateful for the staff and faculty that were willing to meet with our prospective students, even during Spring Break!

We also hosted several events in March. The ISU-Meridian team also helped host Health Science Experience Night for the first time since the fall of 2019. With over 200 people in attendance, it was a very successful event that allowed students and their families to discover why Idaho State is the state’s leader in Health Sciences. Thank you so much to all who helped make this event a success! We are excited to host another HSEN this October. Stay up to date at isu.edu/hsen. Additionally, we held open house events for the College of Arts and Letters, College of Business, and College of Education. This was our first year hosting open house events and we look forward to hosting more this fall with KDHS and the College of Technology.

Finally, we are less than a month away from Bengal Visit Day! This year will be the first time since 2019 that we have been able to host any of our main campus recruitment events in person. We already have over 1,000 very excited students, parents, and counselors ready to come to campus for this exciting event! We want to thank all of the amazing staff, faculty, and current students who help us make events like these possible!  Click here to view the entire breakdown of the month and keep track of progress throughout the year.
